It is my great honor to welcome you to the School of Nursing at Ningxia Medical University. As the only higher nursing education institution in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region that integrates education, research, and community health service, our mission extends far beyond academic training. We carry the important responsibility of advancing health equity in Western China while engaging with the global nursing community.

From its early roots in nursing education, our school has steadily evolved into a comprehensive academic institution with a full spectrum of talent cultivation—from undergraduate education to professional and academic master's programs, and now, a doctoral degree program in Nursing. More than 85% of our graduates remain in the western region, becoming core nursing forces in local hospitals, public health systems, and community-based care. Their dedication is a powerful testament to our belief that high-quality nursing education can transform regional health outcomes and strengthen western China's healthcare capacity.

We uphold an academic culture that values Compassion, Diligence, Professional Excellence, and Integrity. Guided by these core principles, we are committed to building a nursing education model that is rooted in local needs while aligned with international standards. Our faculty actively engage in aging health research, smart care innovation, and community-based intervention studies, establishing academic collaborations with institutions such as Johns Hopkins University, the University of Washington, the National University of Singapore, the University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
