Overview

The School of Nursing at Ningxia Medical University welcomes outstanding doctoral graduates from home and abroad to join our postdoctoral research team. Our program aims to cultivate high-level researchers, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and advance nursing science and healthcare innovation.

We offer two types of postdoctoral positions:

Full-time Postdoctoral Fellows (Research-focused and Faculty-oriented)

Part-time Postdoctoral Fellows (Research-focused only)

Eligibility

Hold a PhD degree (or have completed PhD defense within 6 months)

Under 35 years of age (40 for clinical medicine applicants)

Strong academic background and research potential

Good health and professional ethics

Benefits & Support

Annual Stipend:

Full-time Postdocs: ¥300,000 (before tax)

Part-time Postdocs: ¥30,000–40,000/year

Research Start-up Fund: ¥100,000 + matching support from supervisor or department

Housing: University apartment or ¥2,000/month housing allowance

Social Insurance: Full coverage as per national and university policies

Family Support: Assistance with spouse employment and children’s schooling

Career Development: Eligibility to apply for professional titles and teaching qualifications

Preliminary review and interview by the School’s Academic Committee

Review by the University Postdoctoral Affairs Office

Approval by the University Postdoctoral Management Committee

Sign contract and complete registration

Postdoctoral Management

Postdocs are required to submit a research plan within 3 months of enrollment.

Regular assessments include annual, mid-term, and final evaluations

Extension may be granted for a maximum of 6 years maximum under special circumstances

Early exit is permitted with approval if research is completed ahead of schedule

Completion & Exit Requirements

To complete the postdoctoral program, fellows must meet at least two of the following criteria:Secure a national-level research fund (e.g., National Natural Science Foundation, China Postdoctoral Science Fund)

Publish one first-author paper in an SCI journal (Zone 2 or above)

Obtain one authorized national invention patent as first inventor

Faculty-oriented postdocs may be directly hired as faculty members upon successful completion.
