The 2025 Red Cross Emergency Response Training Course was held on March 16 at the Yanhu Campus, during the national“Learn from Lei Feng Volunteer Service Month.”
The event was organized by the Youth League Committee of the School of Nursing. It featured an opening address by He Nan, the Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee. It brought together 300 teachers and students for the training. Participants received hands-on instruction in essential skills, including CPR, AED using, wound dressing, fracture fixation, and first aid for airway obstruction. It emphasized the importance of the“Golden Four Minutes”and enhancing comprehension through with videos and interactive Q&A. To solidify their learning, the training concluded with both theoretical and practical assessments, which all 300 participants successfully passed.
This initiative only equipped participants with skills and also reinforced the core volunteer values of dedication, friendship, and mutual assistance. It contributed significantly to public health initiatives at the regional level in Ningxia.
