The school of nursing held 2025 freshman orientation and First Lesson of the Semester on September 14 and 19. The events were attended by all doctoral, master’s and undergraduate students.
Secretary Ma Yulong addressed the freshman class. He encouraged them to uphold their ideals, remain open-mind and build resilient. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of setting early academic goals and enriching their inner world through reading. Dean Liu Minhui spoke on nursing career planning, outlining the industry’s development and the key skills required at different academic levels to help students set clear goals. He also shared his personal motivation for returning to China: to advance geriatric care. His speech served as a call for students to cultivate persistence, strategic thinking, and gratitude to become future scientists, leaders, or educators in the field.
Our school will host a series of lectures dedicated to shaping students into competent and visionary members of the nursing profession.
