About Us
The Interdisciplinary Nursing Laboratory (INL) integrates nursing science with biomedical science, engineering, and materials science to advance nursing research. The laboratory focuses on geriatric care and develops evidence-based solutions to complex challenges in aging and chronic disease management.
Our mission is to translate scientific discoveries into effective clinical and community practices that improve the health and well-being of older adults.
Our Work
Our interdisciplinary research focuses on two primary domains
Geriatric Chronic Disease Mechanisms and Management:
Focusing on the pathogenesis, prevention, and management of aging-related chronic diseases, such as osteoporosis and cognitive impairment, to advance early detection and personalized care models.
Biological Mechanisms of Aging and Translational Anti-Aging Research:
Investigating the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms of aging to develop targeted interventions that promote healthy longevity and enhance resilience in older adults.
The INL expands the frontiers of nursing science and shapes future models of integrated care for healthy aging through interdisciplinary collaboration.
