Dr. Hongyan Lu obtained a doctoral degree in nursing from Hiroshima University,Japan,in 2010.She currently is the Director of the Nursing Department at the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University and Deputy Dean of the School of Nursing at Ningxia Medical University. She was elected as a council member of the 28th Council of the Chinese Nursing Association, serves as the Vice President of the 8th Council of the Ningxia Nursing Association, and acts as the President of the Ningxia Nursing Specialist Alliance. She serves on the editorial boards of the Chinese Nursing Journal and the Journal of Nursing,and as a peer reviewer for the Ningxia Medical Journal and the Journal of Ningxia Medical University. She has won several awards, including the third prize of the Autonomous Region Science and Technology Progress Award, the third prize of the seventh science and technology award of the Chinese Nursing Association, the third prize of the Second Innovation and Invention Award of the Chinese Nursing Association, outstanding nursing worker of the Chinese Nursing Association, excellent teacher of Ningxia Medical University, Top 10 Graduate Mentors of Ningxia Medical University General Hospital, Director of National Excellent Nursing Department, Ningxia Nursing Outstanding Contribution Awarfirst prize of the Seventh Science and Technology Award of the Ningxia Nursing Association, and so on. Prof.Lu has long been dedicated in elderly nursing and nursing management. She has published over 100 academic papers,delivered numerous presentations at domestic and international academic conferences, She has also undertaken one key research and development project and two Ningxia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Benefit Projects.
