Our “Smart Health and Wellness Innovation Team project” has been selected for the China Scholarship Council’s Western Region Talent Program. This achievement represents a significant milestone in our school’s international collaboration and exchange efforts.
The “Western Region Special Talent Development Program” is a key initiative by the China Scholarship Council to implement the national strategy of reinvigorating China. It focuses on providing financial support to cultivate versatile and innovative professionals in the western regions, thereby strengthening intellectual support for regional development.
Building on this program, our school can select faculties with both innovative and developmental potential to participate in medium- to long-term training and research at universities such as the University of Washington, Johns Hopkins University, National University of Singapore, University of Wollongong in Australia, and University of Helsinki in Finland. This will help broaden their international perspectives, enhance their professional expertise in smart health and elderly care, foster the development of innovative teams, and ultimately promote high-quality regional development in health and elderly care services.
The approval of this project is the result of the collective efforts of our faculties. Our school will continue to foster exchanges and collaborations with renowned universities, providing an excellent platform for our faculty.
